So, whats beaten you?

Everyone wants to race me at the lights but its a joke because my 0-60 time is insane. What cars have beaten you guys either off the line or in a little highway racing? I haven't had the chance to race anything insane yet, lots of souped up civics but they get left behind so quickly . Everytime I'm next to a 355 or 360 they NEVER want to race. I've raced friends in new M3's and a 02' TT (which was a very close race)

Any good stories?

Raced a SL55 on the highway when I was running just 500 hp and smoked him bad. Not even close. Other than that I have never had anything fun try to race me.

Nothing yet... For that matter, most cars I've had to give a head start just to make it interesting (and probably more demeaning).

As I posted in another thread here it is again:

I sold my Suzuki GSXR600 a few months ago....My bud (on a Honda F4i) and I ran into an F-40 a few months back on some twisties. He blew us on the curves, but had nothing on us on the straight.

My bike did the 1/4 in 10.82....thats pretty good for $6000

Alos, It's nice to know that WHEN I purchase my Porsche I can still hang with the 2 wheelers.....keep it safe!

Well, it's sort of an ok story. But, my experience has been like yours. No decent challenges, and some of the more interesting cars I either don't get the opportunity to run against, or they are driven like garage queens.

I did have this one run in with some guy in a Ford Lightning that was at least humorous. He pulled up next to me and asked about my Valentine 1. Then asked if I knew anything about his truck. He then went on to explain how it had 425 HP, and this and that, and asked if I wanted to go. I wasn't real keen on the idea as 425/4500 < 640/3350. But, I said fine. Let him get a really nice jump, caught him about half way through 1st, and thoroughly trounced him by about 10 car lengths in what couldn't have been much more than a 0-70 MPH sprint. At the next light he asked the obvious question, "so, is your car stock?"
