As usual, Markski (911tuning) went above and beyond (sorry mods, ya'll must be tired of these Markski props threads)

I have his custom race catless exhaust on my 996tt tiptronic (been running his exhaust for ~6 months) and randomly noticed my entire exhaust tip was missing. No clue how it happened...Marek didn't care. He told me to ship the exhaust to him (he even offered to send me a box)...complete turn around in a week (including shipping both ways). Exhaust comes back perfect, he even polished the other tip! He even walks me through the install.

Thanks Marek!

When are we running Paulie? (I will try to stay on the road)

I am going to adjust the exhaust tips tonight...and probably move the bolt to the clamp so its not facing down lol

Might be a bit picky, but in considering mods for my eventual 996TT, is there no way to tuck the tips up closer to the bumper/valence instead of having them hang 1-2" or so below the cutouts?

Looks like there's still 1.5-2" of clearance to tuck the tips in even further up.

Thats what I was trying to say: in order to sit flush the tips would need to be more like the OEM tips (as the opening isn't a rectangle), but even these 911tuning tips could be tucked up tighter by atleast another inch...

Maybe it was install...as this pic off the website looks more like what I had in mind:

The tips look different. The website tip looks to be a rolled edge, and tucked up better as you mention. Since 911Tuning exhausts are custom made to client specification, maybe they were seeking different "looks."

Have only heard great things about Markski; if I'm ever going to replace my exhausts, it will be his'.

He ordered the non rolled tips... he needs to move it up and align it properly with the bumper ... those are dual 3"... so fitment is important... he also needs to get a tool for that V band.. the impact driver is no the way to go lol
