Nice video. Of course, I'd recommend going out on the track and driving your Porsche .

Sorry -- didn't read your post carefully enough. Looking forward to the pics.

Nice picks in your albums. Looks like you already know how fun it is, can't be leave it took me so long.

I enjoyed AutoX back in the day (ironically, in a supercharged Miata). I might try it again with my Porsche some day. The only problem I had with it was the ratio of driving time to waiting time was just too low for me. Six runs in a day is pretty good, but it's still about 6 minutes of driving. I can assure you, it will be a completely different experience if you go to a track and do a High Performance Driving Event. You'll typically get 5 runs of 20-25 minutes each time. Staying focused for that long is a completely different experience -- but you also get a chance to correct your mistakes from one lap to another. It's all fun!

This track is close and a lot of people I have run into this summer said it was a very fun place. Run times at the solo were 46 sec. I will have to get over there and do an event.

I looked at the track schedule and it looks like both PCA Chicago and Southeast Michigan Regions hold HPDE events there from time to time. PCA instructors will help ensure that you'll learn a lot, don't push it too hard, and have loads of fun.
