rear tire flat.. best way to jack the car up?

rear tire flat.. best way to jack the car up?

Well one of my rear tires is flat.. wont hold any air, need to remove the wheel and bring it in for a new tire..tires.. whats the best way to jack up our cars to remove the wheel? I have a standard floor jack... looking for the location point to put the jack at... someone said there is a spot under the engine that is used as a jack location that .. anyone?

There are specific locations for the jack mount. Do you have a manual. They are identified in there.

You should be able to still use the factory jack point next to the wheel right? Seems like the easiest way. I am curious about the jack point near the engine.

Look at your plastic side scurt, the textured black plastic part that wraps under the car on the sides under the doors. On there is two embossed triangles, if you follow the way the triangles are pointed you will find a metal mount that accepts the factory jack.
Just reach along the bottom side of the car under the doors and you will find both triangles. One jack point up front by the front tire one jack point by the rear tire.
Hope this makes sense.

I have an aftermarket floor jack. not the factory type.. my side skirts are no longer have after market side skirts...

I have these; they work perfectly with the floor jack. There is a little insertion on each jack point and these fit right into it.
