re badge rear trunk lid ?

i de-badged my carrera but now think it looks a little bare, i dont want a carrera badge, i dont want 911, i'm thinking of 'porsche' has anyone done this, how does it look ? i'm thinking matt black on a black car would look good

i put a carbon fiber turbo on mine. had an s on it and took a lot of heat so i took it off. the cars not as fast now but it's correct no s cars in 01

probably that people wound him up about false badging. i liked the bit about "car's not as fast now" ha.

There is a thread on the E55 forum about putting badges on that aren't right for the car (i.e. AMG). Worth reading just for the laughs.

can you imagine how many non x50's would've been reborn as x50's if they had been factory badged? i tried back when to justify my re-badging my x50 w an "s" because i figured they were considered TT S cars in europe, so why not? .. that and i had wanted a 911S since 1967!

i figure i've got one now anyway, and no one has to know but the S on the back of 911's has has been a marquee badge for decades, so it still looks cool. re-badging a turbo as an "S" is still pretty cheeky though

I'd say re-badge your car with 'Carrera'. Color/material choice is optional.

Suncoastporsche.com sells the Porsche emblem and you would have to paint matte black. GL
