thanks! I tried to save some money as A3076 might use stock headers and also picked 3076 over custom gt30s for forward compatibility on 997tt, who knows how much boost do you run on pump / race on a regular basis?

I will do both, but had to have a starting point, engine was the most tempting Will use the car mostly for straight line till the upgrades, anyway i don't think i am going to track this car ever, just too aggressive for that even with new suspension and brakes

quick facts :

vbox 100-200 kmh - 7.0 sec, driver+pass,first test, starting 3rd & 7.1 second test starting 2nd
race roll 70-250 and 70-280 kmh against 850hp rs6 v10tt, rs6 gets the jump (maybe turbos pulling lower or some delay from hearing his horn as start, maybe both), 911 gaining slowly and at high speeds gets even or takes the win depending on finish speed

all tests were done @1.25-1.28 bar, 93-94 octane, some damn boost leak

unfortunately we were on a hurry and forgot to record it, next time...

Something is not right...My 996 X50 with exhaust and Giac(1,1bar) has 100-200kmh in 7,5sec.

Consider the boost leak, right passenger and i did just 2 tries, incline might have been also positive, i know will do much better soon. Top end of these turbos doesn't even compare with x50 flashed, just been there.

I will have to fix the car in the meantime cause at the end of 2nd run with the rs6 maybe the pipe ICs to turbo got out completely.... I still remember some words.... do pressure test, do pressure test

fadi i run 1 bar to 1.1 bar on pump 93 oct. on ms 109 i can run up to 1.7 bar.

giorgos if you actually read above you would see that he said he has a boost leak , and i would guess a massive one at that . i can personally tell you when he gets it sorted out it will destroy a tuned x 50.

Its not just the turbos that will deliver what you need... you need a complete well thought out package form fueling, intercoolers, intake, etc etc...

What is the faster setup(A3071 or A3076) for a stock motor with all the supporting mods?
Sometimes bigger isn't better...but you know better than me and I will need your help.
Can you post some 60-130 from your experience with both alfa turbos?

Hi, idle @950 rpm, drivability almost like stock but car decelerates slower a bit.I am using 630cc injectors if going higher I heard some fluctuations might appear at idle.

Boost leak solved now, had a broken pipe ic to turbo, got a code, reset everything and car goes fine. When I had that leak, on idle had 1200 - 1400 rpm ... I tried to read oil level and wasn't possible, got a message: measurement available only at idle

So guys, it's been a while till I got the 3076s and i am really happy on my choice, basically I am running 3 power maps

1. EBC off - 1.0 bar
2. EBC LOW - 1.25 to 1.4 bar depends on my wishes, always on > 94 octane gas
3. EBC HI - 1.5 to 1.55 bar on MS109, no meth

Car is running great, GT2 clutch makes wonders but still very hard to launch hard...
I might participate on a drag event on 24th to try some high 10s if weather will be ok

Till now as 60-130 on racegas @1.52 bar I got 6.7s on 3rd-4th changing gears @7K and 7.0s 4th gear only, I am full weight and 4wd.

I consider those times low and for sure I made a quick shift and started arround 30-35 mph to build boost, was cool nioght also and sea level .... there is something I miss, or maybe I miss rods to boost up to 2.0bar

I will try RWD also soon, dont know if for drag event I should switch already or not, anythoughts ?

Next thing I want is suspension and brakes, is stock suspension on better springs a good option ? Is it ok also with RWD and gt2 specs ?

Leaving apart Brembo, are there any other good options on the market for our cars ?
Brakes should be considered for build motor as I think that will be the next step.
