Tial A28 and tire rubbing anyone?
I have seen that with the intercooler angles. You can try to manipulate them a bit and run a spacer (depending on your current offset). The combo should help. The R6's move a lot under load. What whee, tire size and spacer if any are you running?
No offense, but do you have any nudes? ...remember, I said "no offense." It's in the Geneva convention.
Dude you have one of the best handles/Avatar I have seen in some time. Cheers!
Alex,
So you are at an ET of 30mm right now (factory 40 and a 10mm spacer). Very aggressive but doable on an 11in wheel is about 27-25mm (goes down as you add +mm's with spacer). You can go up to a 15mm spacer with up to a 315 tire if the fenders are "averagely" rolled. Nothing crazy. I would try some 14-15mm spacers and that will help if not solve the issue. I have some if you need. I owe you a sizable package of goodies anyhow...And when I say manipulate the coolers have someone hold them hard in the opposite direction sort of bending the tabs a bit with hoses disconnected. Then loosen the bracket screws and do it again while tightening. This along with the spacers no more hose drama at the track, Sounds funny but when we add all of this huge aftermarket stuff (even if the angle was different) and run on the track you need every mm you can get! Oh and the fender liner there has to be cut but yours is gone now like mine so your good
.
I wrap a layer of duct tape on the hose in the rub area as a marker to see if it ever starts to hit. Also it will save your hose if it does.
Make sure your tire pressures when hot are were they should be too.
That should work.

thanks Sam, i already have some 15mm spacers here, what i don't have is the long enough bolts to fit with them.
But you know what, i would rather try to modify the intercooler than to have to use all those options and still be close. We will modify the intercooler and make a new pipe (unless you have a stock or Samco style pipe laying around).
