2nd Annual Porsche Track Day for NorCal and SoCal (July)
I think that we could easily do groups by time or experience level and equipment. DOT or slicks for the advanced run group seems reasonable. When DEVEK has a track event, we do two groups: fast and not so fast and allow folks to move about the groups, with approval, freely. Often, folks will start in the fast group, realize that they are holding up others, move to the other group, and by the end of the day, they are back int he fast group holding their own.
But most importantly is for folks to feel comfortable in their group. I am sure that switching groups, for example, if you are faster than the group, or slower for that matter, will be encouraged.

I HIGHLY do not suggest one run group.

BTW, I had Porsche brakes on my Viper and recently switched them out to some bigger Brembos, so if any of you are looking for some good brakes and racing pads, I've got some I will sell. I would have to ask you guys what they are worth as I haven't even looked.

I don't think that any of us will be having traffic issues when there are only 10 cars per run group. 3 miles/10 cars and you do the math. That's assuming all the participants of the group are running at the same time which never seems to happen!
MannyC or should I say Goliath, watch out for David. 4 cylinders and 2.5 L's plus the most successful touring car in the history of Europe. You may be a bit suprised! Won't be passing you in the straights but watch out for the pesky fly the rest of the track!
Hahahaha.
And, ya, I'm bringing a girl!
