EVO Cold Air Intake

I am considering purchasing the evo intake and I know that there has been some talk about this product.

Has anyone experienced any problems with the intake and is it known to trip the engine light.

I am trying to figure out if its worth doing when I bump up my TT to a stage 1.

Thanks

Thanks!

I did mine and highly recommend it. Easy to install (20 minutes) and noticably more power and improved throttle response. Check for my earlier post.

Piece of cake to install. Make sure you loosely assemble the three components, cone filter, venturi tube and body before placing in the engine bay. Once everything is in, tighten all the clamps, bolts, and screws. Definitely more performance. Did not notice any louder intake noise.

There are no issues with lights guys. I as well as my employees are running one on our cars. Todd would not release a product that had issues trust me.

i notice some water in the intake after washing the car,is there a drainage hole somewhere. There seem to be no ingress of water into the intake driving in the rain.As for the CEL,none whatsoever.

The heat will take car of any water that might make it in there. If you are worried ( no reason to be) drill a 1/16 hole in the bottom of the cover on the end. That should take care of it.

EVO makes a unit specifically for the GT2 rear wing.
