Met my first 6Speeder in person this last weekend. It was another validation of just how great this board/community is.

turbo03 came to Tucson this past weekend. Had a chance to meet him and his lovely wife. Greg's an awesome guy - and his ride is pretty killer too. I took the chance to introduce them to an eclectic group of car buddies and one of Tucson's best driving roads.

Always cool to meet other board members in person. I feel like I know so many people on this list and call them friends but I have never had the opportunity to meet them!

Some guys hanging out at one of the pullouts pointed at the SSR and asked, "Why do you guys let the minivan hang out with you?" We already give the owner grief for it being an El Camino, so when we stopped laughing we answered, "Because he can keep up."

Front loader, El Camino, Vette, whatever - if you can keep up you can ride along.

Is that the Mt. Lemmon drive? I lived in Tucson for a year a couple of years ago. You should look up a buddy of mine..His name is Mike L. and he has a yellow turbo!

 

Does (or did) your buddy have a race prepped Boxster with the AZ flag colors and 986 livery?

The drive was Mt Lemmon. When they get done repaving it will be totally awesome. 23 miles of paradise. For now, its only about 14 miles to the construction zone where we turned back- buzz kill. (Basically at Windy Vista.)

 

Hey Barebones........... Why dont you get some LA OC boys to come up to Big Willow and run with us.. We have about 20 guys who are going up... Should be a great time............
