Need to lift my car, need your help!

I need to put my 02 996TT on jack stands but I want to be sure I do it right. I've read too many posts where people have bent suspension etc. and I don't want to add my name to that list.

I have the front end on stands already and believe I need to lift the rear of the car from below the rear differential but I'm not exactly sure where to place my jack. Can someone point out on a photo exactly where I need to place the jack so I don't mess it up?

Thanks in advance for your help!

Look along your side skirts, you will find two little triangles. One by the front of the door one by the back of the door. Follow that arrow under the car and you will find a the factory jack point. (looks like a circle cut into the plastic with a slot to accept the factory jack).
If your using a aftermarket jack make sure your jack plate is right in line with the circle cut out so you don't crack the plastic. It's easy you'll find it.

Yes, that's where I'll put my jack stands, but I've got to get the car up first and that circle is not large enough for both the jack and a jack stand. I think I need to jack the rear up from below the differential so I can then place my rear jack stands at the factory jack point locations.
