gt2 clutch conversion

hey guys just got the bracket for the 996tt (01) clutch conversion. besides extending the rod what else should i know and how much weight will i save, am already useing a lwf.. thanks in advance oh is this about a 6 hour job???

Weight savings isn't much. Maybe 5lbs at most.

If you're doing the job yourself, for the first time, on jack stands it's going to be a lot longer than 6 hours. It's not hard, but just take your time and follow gearheads DIY. Stubby wrenches really help for the stock slave removal. Get a set from harbor freight for $10.

Non-trival for my wrench..it was over 6 for him first time, and he is guru....took him about 2 hours to bleed things well.....

If its the first time, it takes quite a while. . . . but it is worth every second / or penny!
