996tt guys... what are you getting next ?
Just curious.. what are you guys planning on replacing your 996tts with ?
I'm going between a 997tt and an r8 4.2. (unless i find a v10 or turbo/sc 4.2 for 100 or less).

I think the only correct answer (after a 996TT) is a 996 GT2 or 997 GT2. That being said, I'd love to own a 997.1 or 997.2 Turbo as well, just yearn for the more hardcore GT series of cars. 
*EDIT* Obviously I'm kidding when I said 'only correct answer' so don't take me so literally folks. I love other makes/models of cars too!

If a certain presidential candidate/president loses, GM will be more free of the bailout stench and I'll probably pick up a C6 Z06. If that means selling my 996TT, only time will tell.
I recently bought an S2000. In many ways, I like this car more than the 996TT. I always thought I'd keep my Porsche forever, but now I'm reconsidering. At a recent Porsche Club AutoX, my co-driver placed the beat down on all the Porsches with an S2000 on street tires (RS-3's). He had the 3rd best time of the day, bested only by a Z06 on slicks and a 335i on race tires.

I agree with Gallardo. AWD, German reliability, brute force V10 that has been taking aftermarket twin turbos nicely. They are a fairly high production car (for an exotic) and they've been making them for nearly a decade so supply will eventually overcome demand and prices will fall. $70k and Ill buy one.
