Picked up my car from Cary Eisehlohr yesterday...
Tyson ... I do really want to start on your car soon... if you're ready we should do it over the next month.... I've been on the road a fair amount working on some race cars (I'm in Canada right now at the Grand Am race) This link might get you to the car I'm with this weekend (black and yellow Number 96 with ERP sticker on the front) http://www.grand-am.com/Events/Galle...?GalleryID=565 . The race is tomorrow and I'll be back sometime on monday. I'll try to catch up on this thread more then too...
As far as the road noise in John's car... I was really surprised how little there is with all the rubber removed.. not anywhere as bad as you would think... I hardly noticed it all...as I said earlier... I don't think I would have done it to my own street car before but as soon as I get some time to work on it... I'm taking all the rubber out of my own street car for sure now.

Hmm...is it me, or in that pic is the car dangling an air jack?

Will run the car up on my local mechanic's rack over the next couple of days and post the pics I take.
Cheers... [/B]

john, i have been checking in for these pix multiple times a day!! when are you going to post them???
Trying to free up the time to pop the car up on the jack later today and snap some pics...was busy watching Kimi demolish the field at Monaco this morning. What a performance!!
John... I think I may have a few pics as well that I can help out with... I'll be back in town tomorrow night... For those that have never been to Mont Tremblont ... OMG!!!!! even if there isn't a racing going on this has to be one of the most beautiful ski resorts I've ever seen....
Dave.... Bingo!!! It was the air jack hanging down. That pic help us find it too... We replaced it the next day but actually didn't know it was hanging down that session ... lucky the make us run the car so high ... because that would not have been pretty if we caught it something. Now sure how many watched the race... it rained in the beginning and we some how got some water in some electrical connectors and developed a miss for awhile .... once we got it running good again we decided to keep it in one piece but the car was really hooked up. ok back to John's car

I watched the race, and damn, every time I see that place, RA, VIR, WG, and other scenic tracks, it makes me jealous! We have nothing but high desert dust bowls out here in SoCal!
Sorry you guys had a tough time, but good to finish, especially in weather like that and a long race. I'm always rooting for Craig and Dave as you know, but now we know you're supporting Eurosport, we'll have our eyes on you guys too next time!
Great for Joey to be in with a good team and to be enjoying good results in GT, especially considering his major crash and injuries a few years back. He's a nice guy, and with that youth and talent, looks like he's got a long and successful racing career ahead.Back to John's car, sorry.
