OK, new spoiler malfunction error situation came up
Hey guys,
I've been running around with the stock rear spoiler disconnected (in lowered position) for about 2 years already (had the connectors pulled and electrical taped up). No spoiler malfunction errors for the entire time.
So, just a few weeks ago I performed the complete rear spoiler motor removal. The system is completely not there anymore, and the connectors remain taped up. However, the behavior has changed. Now when I hit 75 mph (and sustain it for a short time) I do get repeated 'rear spoiler malfunction errors' which I can clear from the stalk, but the little red light on the dash referring to the rear spoiler also turns on.
When I shut the car off, it resets and the process starts anew. I intentionally stayed below 75 mph for a drive home today and never got the error during the entire drive, but what the heck fun is that with a modified 911 Turbo right?
So, any thoughts on what I need to do additionally in order to make this error go away again? I thought I had the problem licked!
