Door locks keep getting louder.
Hey everyone,
I have an 03 996 turbo with 75K on it. I just took it home from the dealer for its 75K service and when I went to lock it, the door locks were extremely loud. Sounded like something was jammed but they still lock without an issue. I called up the dealer and they said that it was probably due to the cold weather and the moisture from the snow. I just drove it back in a snow storm and its about 30 degrees out. However, I have driven this car in 0 degree weather and the locks had 0 issues and were almost silent. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!

Well after hitting the lock unlock button about 20 times, I figured out that the gas cap lock was not lining up correctly with the connection hole. A little bit of pushing on it and it now doesn't hit anymore. It unfortunately doesn't lock now but the sound of it smashing against it is now gone. Looks like its something I will get fixed under warranty at the end of the year. Hope this helps you guys.
