HEY Good Job......With all that MPH which is HP>Are you sure you were not spinning the tires between any of the shifts??....Sometimes it is better to short shift 1st gear and let 2nd gear pull you out of the hole when you have alot of power....

 

yea, I am not familiar enough with the rear end set up to know if it can be launched that hard to go 1.4s

 

It has aftermarket axles (300M...not sure who makes them, I know that this car was built before vivid came out w/ their axles... maybe Scott or Todd can chime in) but the rear engine on these cars make it very easy to break an axle launching.

I know that my car won't have a chance in hell of beating Todds car in the 60-130, that's for sure.

 

I think you need a bigger reminder to turn the PSM off

Seriously, congratulations that is flying on a less than ideal windy day no less.

 

Todd, the tires rock. My slow **** box managed 1.73/5' 60's after figuring out tire pressure. I saw that 25-27 hot was the ticket. Congrats on the sick mph, wow she moves.

 

Thanks Havic!! Yea, I've forgotten to turn it off too many times. I figured a big sticker would help me. And it did!


I did not change tire pressure from 60-130 runs to 1/4 mile runs. I'm sure I will lower the pressure next time.

I spun a bit at the launch. But I'm certain I'm not spinning anywhere else. I short shifted 1st to second at around 40mph. It gave me the best result for sure.
