+1 here. I've had Johns 3" exhaust for several years now. Still love it. It definitely gets that scream to it in the high RPMs. I still drive it often, even though I just picked up my 991 GT3!.....

Does anyone have a sound byte from inside of the cabin?

 

I have a stock (no flash) cabrio with a 2.5" x-cellerator with cats. I could close the top and make a video/soundbite if you want... Not sure if it'll do you any good if you have a coupe, but the offer is there. I've had the pipes for about 1000 miles, and yes the sound changes (for the better) as you increase the miles. I also believe that forcing more gas volume through them helps get the sound where you want it... Or maybe that was just my excuse to run through the rpms under sustained engine load... Either way, it is a classy system that stays on the conservative side of clean vs. obnoxious - a tough line for such a highly subjective topic.

Keep in mind that if you want to up the sound you can work with John and Chad to get as crazy as you want it. I wanted just a slight increase to the "head turn factor" with some audible turbo spool and off-throttle burble. This system checks all three boxes in it's most muted form. I can see how others would want more, but I don't.
