What is it worth

Local dealer has offered me really well optioned 02 X50 CPO with 39000 miles for 89k. I know that is way high but I wanted to get some ideas what you guys would offer. Car is absolutely perfect. I am thinking 78-80. The miles are an obvious concern but there are not a lot of Turbos avail where I am located and traveling to get a car doesn't work right now with the amount of bus travel I do. What do you think would be a fair offer? TIA

$78 to $80 w/ those miles would be very generous of you!

Wow, I agree. Too much even at 88-90. How about $80.

very good chance that car will be wholesaled at auction and they'll see $70 to $75 (less fees and costs) if it has no paintwork and they find a taker. the only caveat is that the auction is easy whereas a retail buyer can be a PIA though add'l $ can be made off him/her in the finance dept

Ben's pricing estimate is accurate. Some from '02 are even going as low as $67k at auction now with mid- to high-20k miles. If you got that car for mid $70k's and got an ext warranty included (if possible) that would seem like a pretty good deal.

Would you mind listing the current going prices for 01-03s some time ago a few members where listing the auction prices of Turbos. It would be interesting to see what they are going for!
