I finsh the 1/4 right on the limiter in 4th you may hear it in the video,i would have been right at 7100-7200 not at 7600. That's my 2cents
....Agreed,if he plans on keeping them on instead of doing switches..

The total diameter of the 315/30/18 is 25.44 inches and the diameter of the 305/35/18 is 26.4 inches so there is 1 inche more not 0.5 what are your thoughts?

I didnt know if you had that right at 305/35/18,I never knew they made that size..
I dont think I would run that on the street for alot of miles with your stock size front tires, maybe if you had 245/40/18s in front for the diameter being closer then it would be OK..
I have run 285/35/18 ,25.9,and 235/40/18,25.4, for over 24,000 miles with no differental problems.I am going to 295/35/18 and 245/40 18 next.
But if it is just to drag race and you are going to let air pressure out for better traction which will lower your overall diameter then,,,,You should be OK...IMO..

It about the circumference .. Pi d. 3.14 x dia... There was a notisable difference in the feel of the car going from the 295/30/18 to the 315/30/18... Also the amount of energy required to accelerate the tire itself is to the square of The dia. I was surprised on how much difference there was in the feel for the half inch dia difference ..

You also should look up the weights of those tires, sometimes because of the belting and load range the smaller tire MIGHT sometimes weigh more..I like my 1 inch bigger daimeter rear tires better then the stock size for many reasons other other then the performance advantage I do have with them..
