Hello everyone? How are you guys doing?

I am a new member on this site. Great site. I love all P-cars. I have a Z06 and I have been wanting to race a 996 TT for a while. I thought there wouldn't be a better way then to come on here and see if there are any owners in MI with a stock 996 TT.

I have heard both sides of the story. The Z06 is a little bit quicker in a straigh tline, but I have also heard that the Porsche is a little quicker. So, I thought the best thing to do is to come here and ask if anyone is down for some friendly runs and maybe some lunch or something.

I've raced an '03 Z06 a few times back when I was bone stock. From a roll, it was a driver's race as to who shifted the fastest. The Z06 might have had a TINY edge, but only a few feet. From a stop, a Turbo with a good launch will take it almost 9 times out of 10. It is hard to make up a 2+ car lead in the 1/4 mile when both cars are so evenly matched.

 

I race Vette's al the time with my 1999 996. Beat them everytime. But I also beat the stock TT's too.

Sorry you qualified to purchase a Vette.

 

about 6 mos ago from a start raced one ono the fwy and after first i pulled 2/3rd car length and then, well you get the picture...

Did you get a new car or something? Also, I don't remember your car being stock. Are you racing a friend's car?

I am not calling BS on this one..I have ran more then a few 996 TT and have beat them at the track ad from a roll...So, i believe your story.

Isn't Xico's car stock too. Maybe if he goes down there he can get a two for one.
