I had an '02 C4S before my '01 turbo and the cup holders and glove box were nice but definitely had little impact when I was shopping for a turbo. If I had them I would use them, but I don't care that I don't have them. Like you I found a clean '01 with all service history in a desirable color and that is what I went with and haven't regreted it in the past couple years I've owned it. Wish mine had had P40 wheels to start. Nicely done and welcome to the 6.

You are in El Sal?? I am headed down in the next couple months for a quick surf trip. We are planning on staying at K59-61, are you in San Salvador?

Congrats on your '01 TT over '03 why

Your black TT looks mean and clean. What was the determining factor to secure the '01 over the '03 TT?
Enjoy living the dream. kenny

Really I couldn't find enough upside in the '03 for the cost difference and the '01 is cherry. No cup-holder, no glove box are insignificant. The HRE's were a nice bonus and they really do make the car look like a million(at least a 100k) bucks. My first stop was to one of my friends who has a '11 GTS, also triple black.. we put em next to each other and really, I'll take my turbo and the 70k in cash.

So far enjoying it for sure, thanks!

Congrats on the new car and a nice find with those P40's

If you don't mind, I'd love to see more pictures of your car.

Can you shoot me the specs on your rims. I have a black/black 03 GT2 and although I really want to keep it stock with only 9K miles on it, those rims look great. Might put them on and keep the stock spoke rims in the garage to use when I put the car on the track. Oh, great looking car. Enjoy!

Sorry for sounding ignorant but I have owned a 2001' for nine years now and aside from never having one problem and no glove box what is the deal with no cup holders. My car came with cup holders and I use them all the time when just cruising. What am I missing???? They are directly above my radio. You push a button and they pop out. Do the 2003's have something different?

From what I understand the later 2001 production cars(and later) had cup holders vs. the early production units which didn't have them.

+1 for the 2001 models. So if you take away the glove box they are obviously lighter and faster! Congrats, beautiful car. Have fun and be safe.

Yep late model 01 here as well with cup holders, hollow spokes, and no bumper- warts.

Congrats on the sick looking TT and welcome to the 6!
