Carbon Side view Mirrors

I already have the mod itch and since the interior is all carbon fiber, I was thinking about matching the side view mirrors. Does anyone have pics?

Looks great. Not sure if I want to go carbon or straight black.

NY, with Carbon it looks nice and versatile. You can always sell them and paint black.

Did the side vents and mirrors in CF. Just did the caps not the full mirror. I'm happy with the results.

Really. They just stick on the actual mirrors? What about the vents?

Yes, just stick em. The vents were a Craigslist find. They are stock vents with carbon wrap I believe and they pop in like the stock units.

Love the Carbon Fiber on the outside also! Get the actual housing and not just the covers though.

BBi has a new line of Carbon Fiber they are getting directly from Germany. I have ordered a few pieces from them and its better than OEM. Call Betim or Joey. The price was half of other carbon companies with NO core charge... It was a full OEM piece, not a sticker. I think they were offering a 6SpeedOnline special.

There is a company that sells 997 style mirrors for the 996 on ebay. I think this would be a good option to change up the look while you are going through the trouble of painting. There was a thread a few months ago about these, but there was no response if anyone had tried them before. Here is their homepage:

Just do the carbon wrap. Cheap and has the same effect! Unless weight reduction is your aim.

Went with ROTtec CF mirrors, LOVE them. Had the inside painted speed yellow to match the OEM feel when looking into the mirrors while driving. Very very pleased with the outcome, also had a similar scheme on my m3 mirrors
