Tech Info On Intercoolers
Why not water cool?
If the question is effeciency of the cooling interface why not water cool the intercoolers? I know you'd have to plumb the water radiator somewhere and a small pump but I'd think you'd get a bigger delta p that way?
Also you could just dump a bunch of dry ice in the cooler intakes before you went out to play. And then stop at a few 7-11 stores for more ice when you needed it!
I think an essential part of the equation is how much ultimate power you are trying to generate and where you want that power to be. If you're looking for mid to high 500 HP, you're better off sticking with the GT-2 units I should think.

It has been my experiance that the GT2 intercoolers are sufficient for the majority of high horsepower street cars, It is only an issue when you are running very large turbo's in racing applications. At which point the intercooler efficiency is taxed.....
I love to hear the claims of 30-50+ hp with an intercooler upgrade... Gentleman it takes a little more than just bolting on a set. Bigger doesnt always mean better... At least when it comes to this
Just my 02. cents...

runners hould be as satright as possible also, to many bends and too long will result in a drop in pressure...
the way the ic is installed is also important, it needs to get as much flowing air as possible.. to cool the air going thru it...

Cargraphic in Germany have access to these cores through their partnership with RS.
