Angry Got KEYED!!!

My car got keyed today!!!! So Pissed! About 2 feet long right down the driverside rear quarter panel. Sorry no pics...maybe tomorrow.

Of course it had to happen at my business! I always park in the back as to not attract too much attention, but sure enough, someone's got a grudge against me! Damn jealous bastard!

Anyway, it definitely went through the clearcoat as I can take my fingernail to it, but with a little polish, it seemed to reduce the whiteness of the freshly scratched car.

Is there anything that I can do to mask the scratch as much as possible. I'll try a little compound with the PC tomorrow, but if anyone has any good tips, let me know. BTW... the car is black

For now, im going to hold off on getting a new paint job...b/c the ******* who did will probably lurk around and do it again.

I need to install cameras in my parking LOL!!!!

That sucks!

Don't drive it to work anymore, it's a sitting duck. Unless there are a lot of sports cars commonly driven to your company, it'll for sure make somebody jealous/resentful/vengeful unfortunately.

Man that just blows. I had a 996 cab several years ago, that I took out of town. I had only owned it 2 weeks. I was playing in a golf tournament in a small rural town, where you would never dream of getting keyed. Well, the following morning, I went out to my car and every panel on the car had been keyed! I had to repaint the entire car, and it took 2 months. I have never been more pissed. Never caught the bastard. Good luck with your repairs!!!

Sorry to hear that. I hate hearing BS like this!
Take it to a professional and have them
do the work. I witnessed a detailer work a deep scratch/key on a dark blue car and was amazed at the results.
Best of Luck

I have plenty of nice sports cars coming in and out of my lot... but only one that sits there every other day for 12 hours. It is a sitting duck and most likely everyone know's it's mine.

Damn haters!!! Why?!?!?

Ron...might have to take you up on that later... dont want to get it fixed just yet for obvious reasons.... definitely going to install cameras in the lot for sure!

Bill, I am sorry to hear that. It breaks my heart that there are so many savages out there in the world. I doubt that this wll help, but karma will get this individual in the end.

You'll fix the scratch and will probably have a string of expensive cars in the future. This cockless motherphukker can only dream of driving what you drive. People that key cars are pathetic losers with no prospects of ever owning anything nice. Instant karma will get this spineless vermin!

I think they should make an alarm system that gives people a little "shock" when they touch your car....or for keying, place metal on your car

Heck, when I get my 996tt, I'll have the only one in the whole town (and maybe the only 911)! It's going to be my only daily driver, too (wife as an LS430). Fortunately and surprisingly, no one has keyed my SC430, so maybe the tt will escape it.
