My 2004 996TT started beeping when the ignition is turned on and after the car is started. The beeping is not the horn, seems to originate near the glove box, and occurs at an interval of about 1 second. 1 second off 1/2 second beep.

I have tried keyless locking twice, opening and closing trunk, hood, and center consol, locking and unlocking with key. Also tried search here and on Rennlist as well as owners manual.
