Europipe1 vs Europipe 2 quiet, whose right?
Europipe1 vs Europipe 2 quiet, whose right?
I have a X50 coupe with UMW reflash. I want to free up some more hp and I am trying to figure out if I'm gonna get the Europipe 1 or 2 quiet.
My goal is more power, so based on this, I should go 2Q.
However, I use the car almost daily with my 4 and 5 yo boys in the back seats. I also use the car for long distance travelling with the kids. So I want something quiet. So I think maybe 1 (or stay stock).
I spoke with Stef (from Europipe) and he recommends EP1.
I spoke with Kevin (from UWM) and he recommends EP2Q.
So my questions are:
-On my set up, how much more power would the EP2Q make over the EP1?
-How much louder is the EP2Q vs EP1?
-Anyone here with kids? Any regrets going with either one?
-Should I just keep the stock exhaust?

It's refreshing that the vendor recommended his less expensive product. Personally, I'd go with the manufacturer's advice - he'd know better than anyone else.
Both will make big gains over stock, but the 2Q should be a little higher in peak output (did Stef have a guess here?)

Stef can't speak for hp gain or loss. But he did give me their measured back pressure. Stock is .36bar, EP1 is .18bar and EP2 is .15bar. Figures are for 4th gear, full boost near redline.
Anyone here went from EP1 to EP2Q?
