I am going to try. I'm 90% going to be there. I will probably take the CGT. The love for the GT3 just isn't as heavy. I still love my GT3 though. It's the best daily driver I have had in a while. People just always want to see the CGT.

Looking forward to meeting you this time around......
BTW - your CGT is INSANE!!
I'd urge anyone who likes cars to come out. Incidentally there will be about 20 race cars there to look (just lost the 917 I hear though ;>(........
There are more than just Porsche's, if you're inclined to poly automobilism. There are even some very interesting antique motor bikes that will be there.
Newport Porsche usually has a tent there with the Porsche Selection stuff on sale at great prices. Last year I bought the Porsche Golf Club bag to impress my friends and I think it was something like $50? Maybe even less.......
Just one word of caution, it's not an all-turbo show. We've got everything from 356's on.

Is there a main featured marque at the event? I went last year, and I think it was mainly Ferrari although there were a chitload of P-cars down below on the flat area.
Who's going from SD? I think Ben is, anyone else? It'd be fun to caravan up.

Joe,
FYI, consider meeting up earlier if the group wants to park together and closer to the entrance. The parking lot gets packed and full pretty quickly, but there's plenty of spots further by the baseball fields parking lot area. I hope to join the group as usual.

The Orange Coast Region of the Porsche Club has held what they "White Gloves" Concours now for more than 30 years. Two years ago we combined with the Huntington Beach Concours, and it was a success. We have a pride of place with the meadow area called the "flat" area above. The proceeds benefit the childrens wing of the HB Library and the CHOC hospital. It is always a nice day.
My only warning to this crowd on this board is that it is not too much "bling" if I may borrow the word from you dudes. It is more classic and modern Porsche's along with a sampling of many other marques and era's.
This year as I said above we will have approximately 20 Porsche Race Cars, a Carerra GT, and lot's of other Porsche's to look at as well.
Last year on the 40th anniversary of the 911 we had a sample from EVERY YEAR in our middle row. It was really interesting to see the evolution. This included a very early 911 that still had the 356 type gauges on the dash board.
Come on out and visit a spell! But don't look for a lot of plastic stick-ons. Keep that in mind and you'll enjoy yourself.
