Stereo replacement options + APR tuning question

I've just bought my first Porsche ('01 911 TT - 19K miles, it's a beauty) and I'm pondering how I might build on perfection...

1) The stock stereo is a bit tired in the world of bluetooth, iPhones and satnav - what is the best option for replacing it? I'm considering the Kenwood DNX7190HD - anybody have any opinions/guidance?

2) The APR ECU remap that apparently gives 485hp/499lb-ft for $2,500 - seems like a stunning deal to me, what is the latest opinion on that? There's a lot of discussion on APR throughout the web but a lot of it is pretty old, what's the latest view?

Thanks in advance.

I went with the Appradio 2 and I love it. Version 1 had some issues but they fixed most of them for the new one... The apps are incredible and the Nav available via apps is da bomb!!

Thanks for the tip! I really like the look of them... uncluttered display, looks nice and tidy. Easy to fit?

I didn't install but it looks like a perfect fit. I'll snap some photos tomorrow for you but the display is super clean and function and ease of use is incredible.

Thanks - it was a really good deal and I'm loving it... only 19K on the clock, it's pretty much mint. I took it for my first proper drive last night, it's the first time I've driven a car in this league... pretty breathtaking.

Oh and some guy in a Toyota Highlander tried to race me... for real. He lost, very badly...

I replaced the head unit with a Pioneer AVIC Z120BT and the amp with an Alpine PDX-5 and also replaced all the speakers with Infinity Kappas. It sounds way better than stock and has all the latest electronic features IPod, Nav, Bluetooth, SDCard, USB, Video... It also looks quite stock.

Sorry to hi-jack
Congrats on the Appradio- in concept this is all I need along with amp/speakers if it all fits in a car with a rollbar. Is the boot up quick enough?

2nd the EPL deal- did this 3 years ago and it has been perfect, especially for the price!
