How are you guys running your 60-130 times from your VBOX/PBOX? From a 40-50 roll or a steady 60MPH? Also are you 100-150 runs from the same 60-130 (IE 60-150)? Thanks for the feedback!

Just got a PBOX and want to make some runs but want to make sure i'm doing them right or consistent with what everyone else is doing.

There are tons of threads on this. Practice and see what works best for you. Some do a 4th gear pull, some do a 3rd to 4th shift and then there are others who do 2nd thru 4th. I usually start aroudd 35mph in 3rd gear and mash it. There are a couple who can do a 2nd to 3rd shift as they have had their gears changed.

I do 3-4 gear stArting at 30-35 lightly holding the break and then mash it and hang on. Its not in any owners manual so practice and see what is best for you.

Thank you for all the suggestions. It's for a turbo busa, I'm not sure what times to expect honestly.

You can start in 3rd and shift into 4th as fast as you can. or if you build boost fairly quickly..start in 4th at around 30-35. The goal is to be at full power (boost) by the time you hit 60mph.
Depending on your power level (300whp or 600whp?) I would think you would be in the low 4s to high 3's...

his busa wont need to go into 4th to do 60-130. i think stock gearing with stock rev limiter on a a gen II goes to 142mph in 3rd i think. so its probably worth trying 2-3 and just 3.

You know, you'd be a much bigger help if you had any actual experience with motorcycles, and Busa's in general.

I did a few passes but started waaaay too high (around 50-60MPH) so I was in 2nd gear. I need to be in 1st gear (I have LSR gearing so it runs up to 220-230MPH) and start from 30-35MPH as many suggested. Below are the logs and I had SERIOUS wheel spin issues going from 2nd-3rd shift. I'll need to back out boost or lower tire pressure and I'll definitely pull a low 3.X and mid 2.X

Thanks guys. It actually was purpose built to race UGR cars, I just didn't get it done by TX2K. I did use an air shifter for those runs, the large dips are wheel spin. On the 100-150 run the 3rd to 4th shift was crisp and no wheel spin. It actually pulled a 2.16G on that one!
