Thanks a lot Superfly. I have found what I need

But, do they give any faulty codes to our 996tt?

Have a couple of friends that have done this, and neither has had any fault codes for over a year. So I think you'll be fine.

Every exterior and interior bulb (besides driving lights) on my 996TT has been replaced with SMD LEDs. No faults/problems ever.

How were you able to get them to work with the fogs? Any pics?
I pulled the housing and quickly realized that there is no space between the H3 Bulb and the rear cap. Where did you end up putting the ballasts? Lastly, the retaining clips for the H3 bulbs will not work with the HID bulbs - How did you secure them?
Thanks,
Shawn

I am using a slim ballast kit that is mounted on the back of the headlight assembly. The OEM cap is no longer in use - used the rubber "grommet" piece with kit. The bulb mounting is custom by one of my brilliant technicians. (hard to explain here)

XLR82XS,

How about the wires? Did you splice them inside the head lamp housing and then run them out the fog light opening, and cover with the grommet? I already have the kit, and then quickly realized it was not going to be a 30 minute job.

Thanks,
Shawn

Install the bulb, 2 wires coming out of bulb plug into ballast, 2 male terminals plug into factory H3 pigtails.
