Will it fit like the GT3 and GT2 sway bar?

997.2 GT3 bar I tried wouldnt fit

For the record, none of the 997 rear bars will ever work unless you go to a 997 rear spindle. And to do that you also need the 997 rear shocks. The 996 rear sway bar arches below the lower control arm and attaches to a sway link that attaches to a tab on the rear shock. The 997 sway bar arches above the lower control arm and attaches to a sway link that attaches to a tab on the rear spindle. The 996 does not have this mounting tab on the spindle like the 997.

wow i just looked at some 997 suspension pictures and damn they really are not the same, you are right, thanks for the answer, you just saved me some time and money.
