Average cost to replace clutch?

I am sitting a stage 3 CM waiting for the spec stage 3 to fail I guess. I was having issue with slipping in 5th gear, due to the greddy set for 1.47 bar. The tune is set up for 1.2 on protosport 650 package. I was told by one mechanic my clutch is going and bye another there is still life. Ever since readjusting the greddy to 1.2bar, clutch is holding up.
So I'm technically not in a rush to swap it.
I'm just curious what you all have paid to have a clutch swapped out? I have read here and elsewhere, the engine doesn't need to be dropped.

Labor typically runs about 12-15 hours. Then you have the cost of the clutch.

A good indie here charges about 1800 in labor for it. The dealer wants 2800 in labor.

PM me when you actually need to get your clutch swapped. I'll point you the right way. It will be done in a day and at a reasonable cost.

Quick addition to the original question....does replacing the release bearing involve an entire "clutch job?" Thanks! Specifically...does it basically require the most of the 14hr time to do a full clutch job or can the release bearing be snuck out w/o dropping the trans and motor and whatnot?

My friend just paid $600.00 labor. The guy at the shop said there's no need to pull the engine. He will be doing mine as soon as it goes.

Great pricing in this thread- this has been the main reason I haven't upgraded turbos.
