I would like to know the numbers as I am finishing up a similar build with k24 BILLET 20's and meth and going down to get Tony at EPL to tune it.
Not yet, over the next month or so most likely, maybe I should wait for your outcome first!

Could you please give us rough cost figuers for these ?

I am in the same situation and would like to decide

Keep up the good work
Thanx
Thanks, best way to get cost would be to call Tony from EPL for a price quote. My car has been modded in so many different stages that I couldn't even tell you what has been put into it or what it would cost to bring a car from stock to this level.

The reason I was hoping to see if you did BEFORE I wrap up this build is I am heavily leaning towards Alpha 3076's.

My turbos are still at Blouch and are in the process of the k24/20 BILLET / clip rebuild (has AMS 1BAR wastegates). I am thinking if I can sell the BILLET 20's (never put them on the car) and if the difference to get the Alpha's 3076's are not going to cost my 1st born I will pull the trigger.

The questions is, is the Alpha's 3076's that $2000 better then the Billet 20's?

I know the Alpha 3076's are most likely 2K better, but if I saw you put down some good results with Meth it might switch my mind to keep the money in my pocket especially if I do not get what I want for my Billet 20's with 1BAR gates.

I was hoping to use YOU as a Ginnie pig, not the other way around?

Thanks

Bobby Ali

When done,, the3076s would be more than 2k more.
I believe bang for the buck you will have the best *** kicking package when done.
Enjoy..

Are you saying the best bang for the buck with the 3076's or the BILLET 20's?

LMK your thoughts ....maybe I should open a new thread??

The 20s and meth.
If I was going to run meth,, I would swap my 18gs for 20s..

John,

since I can remember you have been battling with upgraded your turbo's with 20g's or 3071's, but have not because you most likely need more octane to take advantage of those turbos. Just do the meth my friend, your motor runs cooler, safer for long pulls, ease of use (1 gallon of meth for every 1.5 tanks of fuel) and the huge difference in power...for a power head like you I so not know why it wasn't done as of yet. Even your 18g will pick up a good bit.

Thanks

Bobby Ali

Thanks,,You are right but I never wanted to be a meth head and get hooked on the stuff...LOL.
But if I decide to go that route ,I would go straight to the 20 billets and forget about the 3071s...That would put me on the border line with the stock internals...

High octane stuff sure is addicting. I have 100 at the pump 1mile from the house but only had the 91 EPL file. Last week in prep for a race up at ThunderHill I purchased the 100 file from EPL and ran through a few fills before activating. Even with my stock K16 turbos I can tell it picked up a bit and during 30min sessions the car was much happier. Also ran with a new set of NT01 tires so had to work out the newness- but still managed my fastest laps and won my class Qual and Race!
