EBwerks 60-130 comparison with Straight Pipes

Here are two runs from 50mph with straight pipes and EBWerks exhaust.

First is straight pipes from 50mph: 5.51 60-130 running 2.1bar max boost

EBwerks exhaust from 51mph: 5.29 60-130 running 1.99bar max boost (granted this one was a lightning quick 2/10th shift)

take it for whats it's worth. Same street, same car, similar weather (clear and hot/humid)

It's really tough to go by, shift speed is different. I am not good at 60-130s at all but I have ran 5.1 5.3 5.2 5.5 in one night with plenty cool down on same road with no changes to the car. All at 2.0bar.

Nice times. What speed are you starting at? Start as low as you can in third. 30mph at least.

BHT was not doing dedicated 60-130 runs. He started the runs at too high a speed for optimal times.

Did you post your overall impressions of the EBWerks exhaust somewhere too? I'd like to read about them.

How would you compare the ebwerks in terms of loss in power (compare to your straight pipes) vs other exhaust you have tested ? I'm just curious.
No, the boost was adjusted by me with the EBC. So, I made a better 60-130 with your pipes with less boost. I doubt there is any noticeable loss in power compared to straight pipes.

You guys must be completely overlooking the part where he said he start at 50 mph. I have never seen anyone put up a substantial 60-130 time starting at that high of a speed. Especially trying to spool a bigger turbo. He put "the numbers" in context in his initial thread and all anyone seems to be commenting about is how those times seems slow or my car has done xx.xx lol. I think the point of the post was to illustrate that exclusive of a large number of variables, his car performs better with the EBWerks exhaust. I'm not the smartest guy in the world though, so who knows.

You've got a couple of tenths in your pocket if you've been starting that high. Do you brake boost?
