Talking PSI ECU Tuning

Fellow six speeders,
Just wanted to post some feedback about having my 01 turbo tip chipped by Neil Orton at Orton Performance. This tuning simply blew my mind. I'm not talking about a few extra ponies that pull way up high but a solid kick in the *** from 3k up that does'nt stop until the redline! I had the car done this past friday and had a pca de at road atlanta this weekend so I had plenty of chances to per her through the paces. I am amazed at how strong this car pulls now. It never was a real slow car but it acts like an entirely different animal. I have never riden in a chipped turbo before so I was unsure how much quicker the car would be. Let me just say that If I raced another unchipped car tip or six speed I would spank its *** like a bad child. I'm sure some folks are rollin their eyes and let me say I know there are MUCH faster cars than mine out ther but if you have not ridden in a PSI tuned car you need to. It aint just making the power, its where and when you make it. The car spools SOOOOO much quicker and pulls consistently hard from 3K up. I understand another Atlanta six speeder is getting this done on Monday and I am anxious to hear his thoughts as well. Trust me Neil isn't paying me anything for this but he has been very helpful in talking with me as I have been wrestling with who to go with and decided he is in my back yard so why not give it a chance. I, like many of you, had never heard of PSI and felt that the safer choice my be some of the others on this board. I know they are great guys and very knowledgable also but it was just easier to ride in slow and out much faster. All I can say is if you are considering this mod you should check out PSI. If anyone is ever in eastern GA and wants to get a seat of the pants feel let me know. It aint cheap but WHAT a difference.
Thanks again Neil for taking the time to answer my questions and I enjoyed hanging out at the DE with you. You have a wealth of knowledge and experience and I hope others will give PSI consideration in their ecu mods because I can assure them they will really feel the diference! By they way, no cel's of any kind, pump gas and pulls harder and spools quicker than I could have hoped for.

I must second Silver's comments! I have more than 2,000 miles on my PSI ECU Upgrade and I am continually amazed at the torque. I spun the wheels inside the tires the first day and have subsequently done so three additional times. Not trying and expensive as I have to have them rebalanced but that is the type of power PSI makes. Absolutely no CEL, 93 pump fuel. I wanted QUICK not fast and got QUICKER and more than I paid for! PSI will not disappoint anyone who makes the upgrade. Neil Orton and PSI Motorsports USA give you more than you expect!

Cool- glad y'all are happy. My car is still stock, so have a few questions.

Does PSI have to remove the ECU to tune it?

Does PSI have a dyno for before/after?

What was cost?

Does PSI provide a warranty in writing to replace or repair motor if it blows after tuning?

Above questions apply to all tuners if anyone has info. Warranty on one's work is different from putting in writing replacement or repair of engine if it dies after tuning.

I can attest to how good this PSI is. I have ridden in three 996tts with chips. One Techart, on Giac and Silvers. The first two were on the track, silvers in the passanger side. I have no doubt Silvers is going away better. I am going to do my GT3 sometime in the future .
