Question about aero kits....

I have Techart side skirts, rear bumper skirt and rear aero wing. My front bumper came with the car and was purchased from Anzianos in 2005. The receipt says it is called a Matrix bumper with carbon lip. The former owner paid $1800.00 for it and $900.00 to color match. I was reading another thread and it was saying if you put a GT-2 spoiler on your car without the bumper that it makes the front end come up at high speeds. I am curious if this is a compatible bumper with the Techart stuff from an aerodynamics standpoint? If not what Techart bumper goes with the rest of my aero kit?

Also when Techart designs this stuff do they test it in a wind tunnel or just copy Porsche designed stuff? I would appreciate any input!

from what i have read the gt-2 slots in the center of the bumper are what increase the downforce on the front by allowing the escaping air to pass over the front of the hood. it looks like the lip on yours may be large enough to inc the downforce but theres really only way to find out!

Yeah, I hear you on finding out! I wish I could use a wind tunnel! I am also curious if any of these aero kits change the top speed any? Maybe some guys that have done the Texas mile can chime in.

If it increases downforce, it will reduce top speed. Unless you compensate by adding more power, or reducing friction.
