I've been busy building new shoes for the Butzi Project.

I bought a set of CCW Race Classics in excellent condition and decided to build a perfect set for my 996TT. I also acquired a set of my dream wheels - BBS E88's in GT2 fitment. I am currently rebuilding the E88's as well and looking to tweak the specs a bit so they fit my car perfectly for optimal form and function.

Here are some photos of the process:

The CCW's started out as 18x8.5 18x10's and are now built to my BUTZI Specifications.
















I went with a satin black face and mirror black gloss lip




The BBS E88's are 18x8.5 and 18x12. I am currently working on adding .5" lips to the rear.


The quality and workmanship of these wheels is truly amazing. I really love working with BBS products.


I test fitted the wheels and will be setting the ride height and aligning / corner balancing the car before the final build specs are determined.




I am working closely with BBS Motorsports on the wheel build and I must say they have been very supportive and super responsive and professional throughout the whole process, a big thumbs up and thanks to BBS Motorsport!

Hey David, just wanted to say great job with the progress of Butzi! I saw it at Dubs on Defrost 2 weekends ago and took a quick peep. The CCW's looked awesome. Car was stunning all around.

BTW I had the "Rubberwrapped" yellow 996TT at the Prime Cuts booth. She'll be back to silver in about a week. Shoot me a PM if you ever get a group together for a drive, I'd love to join depending on where you go. I'm in central NJ.
