295 tires on an 11.5" wheel?

Will they fit okay without stretch? 11.5 inches is equal to 292 millimeters if that helps

what is the brand of tire ? if michelin, yes it will fit 100%.
i know this because i ran a 295 30 19 on a 12" wheel. no problems at all. no compromise in safety either.

just to confirm, we are talking about a 295 30 19 right ?
NOT a 295 25 19.

With that size tire did the rim stick out past the sidewall? Seems like it would be fairly stretched but I know every tire manufacturer is different.

Yeah, 295/30, TireRack doesn't even carry 295/25. I feel like that would be unsafe lol

correct. a 295 25 19 will NOT fit on an 11.5" wheel safely (it will stretch out).

the reason i specifically asked if it was a michelin is because they run taller and wider than any other tire of the same size.

a 295 30 19 is as big as most 305/315 nitto/falken tire

I had a 295/30/19 pirelli on an 11" rim and it looked stretched and didnt protect the rim like my 315s do.

^pirelli's run narrower than ANY brand ive seen , save for yokohama.
a "375"mm pirelli tire is NARROWER than a 325 michelin cup.

saw it with my own two eyes and a tape measure.

pirelli's have a very thin sidewall. (compared to a michelin, bridgestone, continental) EXCEPT for the pirelli cup line. the corsas are as big as a michelin.

i should get a title as the tire wiz, because i am so spot on with my tire assessments its crazy.

I have 305/30/19 on a 12" wheel right now and they are stretched, not not overly so.

I would imagine 305/30/19 will be perfect on a 11.5" wide wheel.

All the manufacturers I looked at didn't recommend anything larger than an 11" wheel for a 295/30R19.

I'm sure it will physically fit, but just an FYI.

Later, Steve
