Ticking sound

Hello 996 owners need your help on this one.. I have a ticking sound and it's freaking me out.. I just got this turbo cab.. So what the hell is it.. Thanks

If it's only at idle and gone away when rev up pass 1,000rpm, I have the same issue with my 03 996 TT. I wonder what is it myself.

Some told me to use a different oil and should go away..

If it doesn't go away as RPMs increase past 1000 or so and it is localized to one side of the motor or another then its probably a stuck lifter.
