My 996 Turbo RHD -> LHD conversion
I think you are seeing this wrong. As Becha explained in one of the early posts, he is doing it because he enjoys this and it allows him to get to know the vehicle systems inside and out. It is not (just) money. I guess I can sympathize quite well because I am the same. As far as I am concerned, having a project like this in the barn and spending my weekends or eves working on it is.... wonderful.
Same thing as building a kit car or restoring an antique car, sort of. I think it could be thought of as being diametrically opposed to the lux4play crowd while still retaining an interest in the same vehicles.
I don't really get the street racing scene. At all. When I race, it's on a track. And not just in a straight line. But that's just me.

I'm a track guy myself so I know what you mean. I drive like an old lady on the street.....
Call me Captain Obvious, (and I realize the OP is just having fun), but it seems he needed ALMOST a whole other car to rape parts from?! Couldn't it have been a LHD car and saved himself a lot of work?
Hmmm, who was captain obvious first?

A little off topic, but if you really want to F with people who have slow connection speeds, just respond to OP by quoting his pictures so that every page takes longer to load
