As far as I am concerned, having a project like this in the barn and spending my weekends or eves working on it is.... wonderful.

Same thing as building a kit car or restoring an antique car, sort of. I think it could be thought of as being diametrically opposed to the lux4play crowd while still retaining an interest in the same vehicles.

I don't really get the street racing scene. At all. When I race, it's on a track. And not just in a straight line. But that's just me.
Yeah, I enjoy turning wrenches on my car too. I find it very therapeutic. To take it to this level is way beyond my scope. I'd probably put it back together and have a mountain of screws and wires left over, and windshield wipers that turned on every time I used the blinker. Lol!

I'm a track guy myself so I know what you mean. I drive like an old lady on the street.....

Call me Captain Obvious, (and I realize the OP is just having fun), but it seems he needed ALMOST a whole other car to rape parts from?! Couldn't it have been a LHD car and saved himself a lot of work?

Hmmm, who was captain obvious first?

A little off topic, but if you really want to F with people who have slow connection speeds, just respond to OP by quoting his pictures so that every page takes longer to load
