Please help me beat a dead horse by pullin the trigger on a tune. P.S Launch control?

So I'm finally going to pull the trigger and get a chip. I just don't know where to go. I had been talking to Kevin from UMW and hes awesome and helpful as everyone said. I've never heard anything bad/negative about his tunes, and I'd love to give him my business. But I've been hearing a lot of positive things about EPL and I could drive there if necessary. Also they have combo deals with Speedtech exhausts, which seem to be the best bang for your buck exhausts right now, and I'm also thinking of pulling the trigger on an exhaust. Finally there's Promotive which I don't know much about but seem to produce fast cars (not sure if they are the company that produce the tune or not, much further research is necessary). Also what is everyone's feelings on launch control? Ive found on other high hp, AWD cars (TT s4, 400-500hp EVO 8) launch control is sometimes invaluable. It helps give you the perfect launch and many time on the street your launch is was what wins or loses or allows you to get the jump on that other car. I'm not sure if this protects the clutch by not allowing you to beat on it/drop it too hard, or if it hurts the clutch by launching harder than a careful driver would, but I would guess the former, because its very easy to drop the clutch too hard. Unfortunately Softronic is the only one Ive found that offers this option, and correct me if I'm wrong, but Softronic seems to not be in the same league as far as drivability and hp numbers as the previously mentioned three. Please clue me in as to some differences between the three and who is the best bang for your buck for a very mild build

Hi, That's great you did your research..
I have had a few different tuners over the years and stages.
I have a Protomotive tune now.I am a very happy camper..Todd K. is a first rate guy as he tuning skills and equipment is.
Do yourself a favor and call over there.
Good Luck.

I also live within driving distance to EPL and had a custom dyno tune performed by Tony and I could not be more pleased with the results! My car's tune is so perfectly dialed in and spot on - I absolutely love it. IMO, working with a tuner with a reputation like EPL and adding the fact that their facility is within driving distance trumps all other options.

The SpeedTech exhaust/EPL tune is a fantastic choice. I feel certain you will be extremely satisfied with this combination.

I also have EPL tuning and could not be happier. Tony and crew are really stand up guys, something that I find is more and more difficult to find these days. That being said, driving to a dyno and being tuned on the machine, you just cant compare that to some of the programs the other guys do. Granted Tony remotely tunes as well but there is no substitute for an in-house dyno.

I did not know the 997GT2RS had that feature, Anti-Lag?

Isn't that dumping more raw fuel to induce turbine spin? Also, is that recommended for expensive systems like these cars?

I don't mind the launch feature, but the anti-lag doesn't seem like it would be good.

I think we need a launch control like this:
0,7bar at 5,000rpm
