well, unfortunately I have been offered a deal on my 9e650 911. Just couldn't turn it down, so I'm going back to Cosworth. Its been absolutely fab guys. a real privilege talking to you all on the forum. Ive learnt an awful lot and I hope I might have been some help to others in the process.
I'm going to miss the power and the street cred my car has given, but its time to move back to a car I'm more comfortable with. In the back of my mind over the years Ive worried about the technology of these cars and even with a PST2 and the POSES system data base its a worry at times. My health, breathing and heart problems dont go well with stress and worry so with a very heavy heart the old girl has been sold. New owner should be picking her up 8th October

just remembered 6speed has a British car forum so I might pop over now and again to say hello

So cheery bye from Scotland.

All the best to you. If given an offer I couldn't refuse, I'd be in the same boat. I enjoyed reading your posts, and wish you all the best and good health.

Thank you.
It really was a good offer. Basically i will get back every Pennie I have spent on the car on Mods and still got low book price for the car. It goes to show how well the Nine Excellence 9E650 kit works. It sold within half a day of being advertised.
Take care your self too.

I really enjoyed your contributions to the forum. The same thing happened to me with my 930. Someone offered me an offer I couldn't refuse. And no it wasn't a horse's head in my bed I hope you have a speedy and full recovery. All the best.

Just because you sold her, doesn't mean you can't visit every now and then. But I hope all finds you well in the future and if I happen to get a chance to get out your way, we'll split a bottle of Lagavulin 16

Good luck!

I've owned many, many British cars over the years and have lots of fond memories. My DD for years was a '59 MG Magnette ZB, back in the late '60s. I've had Minis, Jags, Austins, Sunbeams and more. I wrenched on and hot rodded most of them, loved them all.

Curious as to what Cosworth? I've always thought of them as a high performance tuner and manufacturer of Pistons, heads and such. Do they make a car?

cheers my friend, recovery isn't going to happen unless I have a complicated and risky operation. So long as I dont any worse and i can get some weight off then my breathing will get better. Drugs will take care of my heart so fingers crossed.
