Did you recalibrate the TB or just disconnect the battery? If you havent recalibrated yet, try the following:

Disconnect batt for a few minutes. After the battery is connected.

1. Switch the ignition on for 1 minute without starting the engine. Do not actuate
accelerator pedal.
2. Switch off ignition for at least 10 seconds.

This completes the adaptation of the throttle adjusting unit

How did you check for boost leaks? Any leak between the MAF and the turbos can cause this problem. Faulty diverter valves can also do this.

Did this earlier ... when I started the car .. the car would stall ... I had to rev it up a few times and it had to relearn ... the rev ran up and down for a little while until it stabilized ...

Not sure if that did anything ... or that means something ....

obviously not the throttle body as mine fired right up and was smooth as glass within 1-2 minutes. In fact, my car use to be VERY loud during the warm up process but was much quieter once completed.

Do you have a LWFW? My car does this very very infrequently and I read on this forum that it had something to do with that. All armchair quarterbacking though
