I live 10 mins away, so I'll be there at some point, though maybe not on race day. Wife is having surgery on her sinus's on Thursday so I'll have to be on call. I hate that World Challenge isn't running though, used to love to go watch that one.

I'll be parked in the Porsche corral, black on black 996TT, OEM wheels, rear wiper delete. I plan to be there all day Saturday starting about 8am; can't wait for the ~150mile trip all interstate.

I have a friend who works with the race ask me if I'm coming. My sister's birthday is the same day so I'm not sure yet. But it would be fun to see some of the race.

Cool, I'll be in the corral this year too! So, arrive at 8am to be safe on getting a good spot? I usually take my Jeep because it gets so dusty and some years muddy, which then turns into an all day detailing nightmare. Don't get me wrong I love detailing my car, but I would much rather limit the undercarriage grim.
Will be cool to meet some of you guys in person though. Put a face and personality with the car.

Is the Porsche hospitality tent (Porscheplatz) open to PCA members? Or only those with parking passes to the corral? I'll be there starting Fri am

I believe you can only park in the corral if you have a pass and driving a Porsche.

I believe I read it is a separate charge upwards of $200. Nice aviator!

Just got an email from PCA today explaining the corral and hospitality tent stuff...

For those of you that HAVE a Porscheplatz Parking Pass, you MUST bring your Porsche to park in the Corral. No Exceptions!! In addition, if you would like to sign up for the Parade Laps on Friday, you MUST be parked in the Porscheplatz Corral. I suggest you get to the tent and register eary to sign up as we can only have 100 cars and it always sells out.

If you are attending the race, but DO NOT have a Porscheplatz Parking Pass, you can still come to the Hospitality Tent at the Porscheplatz Corral, register (free) and participate and enjoy the amenities and presenters we have scheduled. Its open to everyone. Its just the parking that's limited to Porscheplatz Parking Pass holders.

Hey Man, not sure if you saw my yellow turbo, but I didn't really spend time at the tent. I saw your beauty though. Glad all we had to worry about was dust and not mud this year.
We all hung out and drank by my car for a little bit, but mostly walked the track.

Yea I saw your car, the only other 996TT! I really like those wheels you have. I crawled under looking at your exhaust, I'm starting to plan a custom set-up I don't recall you having a non-OEM but I might be mistaken?? We spent the entire day walking to different locations as well, great day, lots of good racing. The chrome Ferrari's sounded awesome!
