Reasonable price for an OEM GT2 Front end with supporting hardware and ducting?

I was curious on what an expected price for a used OEM GT2 front end conversion would be (not including every single water line, but including the lines necessary for re-locating / mounting the radiator(s).

For example, the parts list would be:

Parts included (I used pelican as a reference for prices):

996-505-311-30-G2X BUMPER LINING - $4848.25
996-505-563-30-01C AIR INLET LEFT - $267.00
996-505-564-30-01C AIR INLET RIGHT - $267.00
996-505-561-30-01C AIR INLET CENTER - $303.25
996-575-326-30 BUMPER FRAME - $384.25
996-575-325-30 BUMPER DUCT - $126.75
996-505-741-30-01C BUMPER HIDER - $123.25
996-505-742-30-01C BUMPER HIDER - $123.25

Approx $6443

996-575-321-30 AIR ROUTING DUCT LEFT - $429.25
996-575-322-30 AIR ROUTING DUCT RIGHT - $429.25
996-575-141-30 AIR ROUTING CENTER DUCT - $144.00
996-504-679-31 ALUMINUM SPACER SLEEVE (x2) - $43.75 ea
996-505-555-30 SPOILER LIP – $298.00
964-612-337-00 AIR TEMP SENSOR GROMMET
M6x100 BOLT, CENTER RADIATOR SUPPORT (x2)

Approx $1388

996-504-123-90 Inner Fender Liner – $247.25
996-504-124-90 inner Fender Liner – $247.25
996-106-621-75 Center Radiator Hose (R) $108.22
996-106-625-75 Center Radiator Hose (L) $111.00

Approx $713.72

Total $8544.72

What should one expect to pay when buying a setup like this used?

If you are lucky, you can pick up a salvaged GT2 front bumper from LA Dismantlers for about $2500, almost half of the normal price. A close personal friend of mine had to do this recently.

I bet they can help you out with most of the rest of the pieces you need to complete the switch too.

Yes, and that was a deal. Just the OEM bumper (cover) on the GT2 goes for between $4600 and $5000 new.

Sounds like bumper + supporting hardware I have listed should run roughly 4-5k, which would be considered a deal. I imagine the ducting isn't going to come at much discount either.

Last time I spoke with LA-D, they had a GT2 front complete for 7k.

There are some aftermarket bumpers out there for around $1800+ that I am told the only visible difference is that they don't have a Porsche part number on it. It's up to you what that original Porsche part is worth.

I believe only one company does a poly blend, I didn't want the hard-as-rock bumper.

I also hear that the functional vent pieces won't match up without modification / mounting. I have not personally verified any of this, but I felt an oem option was the best way to go.

Holdem is infamous around these parts
I have been shopping used OEM 997 Turbo body parts for my 996/997 conversion project for approximately two months. My experience has been that the average cost used vs new is 30-35% of retail. In some cases the parts are 10 cents on the dollar!

My sources have been ebay(private/quality porsche parts), craigslist, google, and of course "most recently as a new member" 6speedonline.com.

Members on 6speedonline usually have the lowest cost!

That person would be me, lol.

I was asking because I didn't want to price gouge. I've seen the cover with minimal accessories sell for $3200 to another member on 6spo, I believe he had to purchase another $1600 worth of parts to make it near-OEM.
