There is a screw for the low beams. It is WAY far recessed in the hole thats covered by the black rubber grommet. You'll need a long thin phillips screwdriver to reach it. You can also pull the headlamp assembly out of the car and turn it up in increments then reinstall and test. If i remember correctly it is the lower screw that adjusts the up/down of the low beam.

The details are in your owner's manual. Very easy to do. The hardest thing is getting access to the screws (and finding them as you've found out!).

The proper tool is an Allen (hex) wrench, but as noted a long one. Standard length and even some "long" ones won't reach it. I found a set at Griot's garage that just barely reaches. I believe it's just a plastic receptacle, so be careful if using a screwdriver that you don't chew it up.

It is very simple. A long 5mm allen wrench is what you need to do it right. On the inside of the trunk you pull back the carpet on either side of the light and you will see three separate covers. The front one with the rubber cover is for the fog lights. There are two more about 5" behind that one they are one on top of the other. The top one is covered by a plastic cover that is usually blue --> Do not adjust that one. The one below that has the rubber cover like the front fog light adjuster; adjust that one. About two to three complete turns counter clockwise will likely be enough for each headlight.

I recommend doing your first adjustment facing a wall from about 10ft away. That way you can see if both lights are the same height to start; and you can see how much you raised each beam. Use some masking tape to mark your initial starting point, the projector low beams leave a fairly crisp line for reference.

There is no separate adjustment for high and low. This adjuster moves both up or down.

This procedure is found on page 199 & 200 in most North American owner’s manuals.

OH boy.... Here is a pic for your reference. I am holding the allen key and it is pointing to the rubber plug you open to adjust the head light. Do not use the blue one. Do not use the one that is directly infront of my thumb as that is for the fog lamps.

5mm allen key is about 8" long and it will go into the hole into a plastic guide that goes directly to the adjuster. The allen key I use has a ball end on it as it makes it easier because it is not a 100% straight shot into the hole.

BTW adjusting your headlights is good for at least 8 hp and I am sure little Johnny will want to quote me on that one too. OK OK I make a private joke.

So.... Pic is of right front headlight.

-The rubber plug right infront of my thumb is for the fog lamps.
-The round rubber plug infront of that is to access the release mechanism for the headlight
-The one the allen key is pointing at is for up and down of BOTH lights. U cannot just adjust high or low. Both go up or down at the same time.
-The blue plug above that is another headlight adjustment, it too ,makes both headlights go up and down. How it differs from the other one I am not sure but you want to use the one behind the black cover.

Absolutely promise you it is there. you need a really long 5mm allen t-handle or wrench to get to it. I mean... You need a really really long. If you have an allen head socket, use a 1/4" extensions and use a long one. I have a Craftsman that is the 12" version, and it reaches.

It's there bud, trust us.

Look in the hole with a light. As I said it is not a straight shot. You have to get it to go into the black plastic recepticle not the hole that is metal car body work.

I've done this before. There are clear instructions in the book in the glove-box. Long 5mm hex... I bought a set of 10" T-Handle ones for like $20
