Hey John, just wanted to say thanks to you and Chad! You guys were a huge help in getting my system installed. All the emails and support was impressive. I feel like I got the right system for me. I installed SpeedTech 2.5 x-pipe with 100 cell cats about a month ago now. The sound is awesome and the car really comes alive now. My Wife even likes the louder sound so it is a win-win! Had it down at Laguna Seca and it was a blast!

Glad your wife likes it too...wives seem to enjoy the 2.5. It's the only exhaust my wife has ever liked and I love it as well, so it's a win-win here too!

What did you blow for sound Landjet? I used some 2.5" tips that John made but was still a bit too loud, but I'm on the 3.0 system. Laguna has some 90db days in 2013 so will be looking for some turn out pipes (away from sound check) plus a bit if lift. System still sounds sweet!

I'd be very interested in knowing if you can pass the 90db days at Laguna. As John knows, it's the only thing that's kept me from pulling the trigger on one of these (2.5). What did you get measured at on Turn 5 with the 2.5" tips on the 3.0 system?

 

I can make track "turn down" tips for the 2.5 to swap out for track days. The turn down tips make a huge difference on our GT3 system...also, we could even slightly reduce the outlet size on the turn downs to even further reduce the sound a few db's. Give me a call or send me a message, if you would like to discuss designing a second set of track tips for your needs.
