Congrats on your purchase. The Hill Country region of PCA is a fine group of individuals. I would encourage you to meet up with them soon and introduce yourself! My wife and I moved from Austin to Ft. Worth this past February. We miss the Hill Country drives for sure... You'll love the traction and power the car can put down I can think of a few roads I'm sure you'll be itching to try out...

I'll be heading to Cars and Coffee on Sunday. Maybe I'll meet some of the PCA folks there.

I live pretty close to 1431 so I have already cruised on that and hit up a couple windy roads that branch off it. I am having a lot of fun learning how this cars dynamics are different from the Z06 I had before it.

Have you driven Lime Creek Rd with the car yet? - That one will definitely make you smile

Nope, haven't driven Lime Creek with the Turbo yet. I've driven it in other cars and it is definitely one of the most fun around here... as long as you don't get stuck behind someone.

3rd gear and 996TT torque and you're set - Definitely make that drive and I promise you - you will be laughing your butt off!

So far ownership hasn't been as exciting as I had hoped. Half the time I have owned the car I have been waiting for parts to come in.

A couple weeks ago I noticed some drips from the drivers front corner. I immediately knew it had to be the explanation for the coolant scent I had been smelling. I removed the fender liner and verified the radiator was leaking. Ordered a new radiator and I finally got it last Friday. When I took the bumper off I noticed that the passenger side was now leaking, too. I ordered that one on the same day and I should see it on this Friday. Hopefully I will be driving my car again this weekend.

Oh well, such is driving a used car. I just wish I could have gone more than 350 miles before having issues.

I've also only been able to put two miles on my new Michelin Pilot Super Sports.
