It seems like it modernized the look without adding the size of the 997.

not only does it look cheep, it makes the whole car look like a clone... be proud of the 996tt, its a bad *** car!!!

 

All Turbos have been and will be classics. It's a matter of time.
These are reliable cars that withstand the passage of time very good.
996s are going to be sought after for being "different". So, keep the sad eyes on your classic.

Prior design also makes a complete front clip conversion for the 996 (you have to supply 997 headlights) but it's probably the cleanest i've seen if you're going to do it.

Not crazy expensive either... reuses stock hood.

You just can't alter the rear as it's all narrow body fitment for their kit.

 

lol the only thing that looks cheap is the weak boxster "before" image...

I think it looks awesome.

The price is pretty fair too. $8k is nothing for a mod like that bumper is $4k easy, light $1k each..

The hood looks like a 997 one to me...

Funny things that happen on the older boards with the cheap-*** 3rd-4th owners...

 

the 996 and 997.1 are sooo closely related. The biggest difference is the front end and the interior.
